Mara Rocha

I am an enthusiastic digital transformation veteran with 18+ years in the software industry.

 

A strategic thinker and a passionate doer, I am an experienced manager and effective communicator in English, Portuguese and Spanish, who has successfully led businesses and sales teams in Latin America and Asia Pacific @IBM.

I am comfortable working in a challenging and fast-paced environment, fueled by a passion for technology, coffee and places (not necessarily in that order) along with a personal
long-term commitment to ensure children and youth thrives through science, innovation, and leadership by engaging, throughout my career, in volunteer initiatives in IBM and in AIESEC.

Although I have a solid skill set in web technologies, middleware and mainframe software, I am a long life learner and have been an active member of the Blockchain, DevOps, IoT and Machine Learning MeetUp communities in London.

  

Having lived in Brazil and China, I now reside in London. I have a BA in Communications from Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado in Brazil, an MSc in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School in the UK and a certification in Digital Marketing by IAB Europe.
